Terms of Service
Last updated April 2026
By creating an account or using slydeme.ai, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
The service
SlydeMe converts medical lectures into board-prep artifacts (study guide, AnKing tag list, gap-fill Anki deck, slides PDF, all-in-one zip). The output is generated from the audio and visuals you submit. We do not pull in outside knowledge.
Your account
- You're responsible for keeping your password secret.
- One person per account. No password sharing.
- You must be at least 13 to use the service.
- You can close your account at any time from settings.
What you can submit
You may submit any lecture content you have the right to process. That includes:
- Public videos (YouTube, etc.) under fair-use review for personal study.
- Lectures from your own institution that you have access to (Panopto, Kaltura, Canvas, Echo360, etc.).
- Files you record or own.
You may NOT submit:
- Content you don't have the right to process.
- Content that violates the source platform's terms of service.
- Content from paid test-prep platforms (UWorld, AMBOSS, Sketchy, Boards & Beyond, OnlineMedEd, Pathoma, Mehlman, Goljan, etc.). Their license terms prohibit derivative works and we will not process them.
- Content involving minors in any non-educational context.
- Anything illegal where you live.
You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant SlydeMe a limited license to process that content solely to deliver the service to you.
Your representations about uploaded content
By submitting any lecture, video, audio, or file, you represent and warrant that:
- The content you upload, and the artifacts generated from it, are for your personal, non-commercial study only. You agree not to distribute, copy, modify, or otherwise use the generated outputs for any commercial purpose, including resale, public performance, broadcast, redistribution, or republication.
- You own the content, have a license to it, or have a good-faith fair-use basis (17 U.S.C. §107) to make a single transformative copy for personal, non-commercial study.
- You are not circumventing technical protection measures or violating the source platform's terms of service to obtain the content.
- You will use the generated artifacts solely for your own study and will not redistribute them in a way that competes with the original work.
- You are responsible for any third-party tool you use to obtain a copy of a recording (browser extensions, screen recorders, downloaders), and you have confirmed that your use of those tools complies with the source platform's terms and your institution's acceptable-use policy.
- Any use of uploaded content or generated outputs beyond the scope of these terms may violate applicable copyright law and the source platform's terms of service. SlydeMe assumes no liability for unauthorized or improper use of content; you assume full responsibility for complying with all relevant laws and contractual obligations.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ProForma Concepts LLC, its officers, employees, and contractors from any claim, loss, liability, damages, fees, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) content you submit; (b) your breach of these terms; (c) your violation of any third party's rights, including copyright, trademark, privacy, or contract rights; or (d) your violation of any applicable law. We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense of any matter for which you owe indemnification, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defense.
Output ownership
The artifacts SlydeMe generates from your submission are yours to use, share, and modify. We do not claim ownership of derived files.
Acceptable use
- No reverse engineering, scraping, or attempting to extract our prompts/models.
- No automated bulk submission beyond your plan's limits.
- No reselling the service or operating SlydeMe on behalf of others.
- No abuse, harassment, or attempted account takeover.
Copyright complaints & repeat infringers
SlydeMe responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content on slydeme.ai infringes your copyright, our full DMCA policy, including the contact information for our designated agent (registered with the U.S. Copyright Office under registration number DMCA-1072321), the required elements of a takedown notice, and the counter-notice process, is published at slydeme.ai/dmca.
It is SlydeMe's policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users determined to be repeat infringers. In general, a user who is the subject of two valid, uncontested DMCA takedown notices within any 12-month period will be considered a repeat infringer and is subject to account termination. We may also terminate accounts at our discretion where we believe in good faith that a user is engaging in willful, repeated, or large-scale copyright infringement, even before a second notice.
Plans, billing, refunds
- Free tier covers occasional use. Paid plans bill monthly via Stripe.
- Cancel any time. You won't be billed for the next month.
- No partial refunds for unused time within a billing period.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice.

We try to keep slydeme.ai up. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service and are not liable for downtime, lost work, or missed exam prep windows.
